- Square cut the pipe as per required size and de-burr(s) with de-burring tools.
- Clean the overlapping surfaces of pipe - socket
- Apply the cement on overlapping surfaces with a brush
- Insert the pipe immediately and rotate 90° for better spreading
- Wipe excess solvent with cloth
- Align it well and hold it for 10 – 20 seconds
- If the pipe diameter exceeds 3 inches, apply primer
- Put the cap back on immediately after use
- Do not apply with fingers
- Keep away from naked flame
